Woodbine Lamp - a comparison

The woodbine shade shown on top of the picture is my copy of a lamp featured in Egon Neustadt´s book "Lamps of Tiffany". There isn´t much difference to be noticed between the two, except for the golden colour towards the bottom of the shade, which I didn´t have. Finding the right glass is the most difficult part of the job and has become almost impossible these days. If you don´t have a larger stock of older sheets from the 80´s or at least the 90´s, it´s not even worth trying. Very regrettable.

  1. I so agree… good glass is becoming harder to locate in general unless one is near the factories as wholesalers are cutting back on what they stock. Larry
